Loans and Allowances

Available to New Zealand citizens only. Studylink does all administration for Student Loans and Allowances. You will need to contact them on 0800 88 99 00 as soon as you apply for a qualification to allow time for processing before your fees are due.

Ensure that correct documentation is supplied to Studylink so that your application is not delayed

• evidence of NZ  Citizenship/permanent residency as supplied to NZCM
• official IRD number
• bank deposit slip

If you have any change in circumstances or personal details you must notify Studylink immediately.

Student loans cover the cost of course fees only. An additional amount ($1000) is available each year for course related costs for full time students.
