Massage Therapy is a very useful addition to other health/fitness qualifications, e.g. personal training, nursing, physiotherapy and beauty therapy.

Career Pathways
Graduates may work in: multi disciplinary health practices, private practice, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, community centres, gyms and sports complexes, physiotherapy or chiropractic clinics, complementary health clinics, hotels and spa resorts, community mental health centres and nursing homes, as well as in education.

Therapeutic Massage and Sports Massage specialists will work with individuals and groups of all ages, assisting those recovering from or dealing with injury, chronic pain or disability, as well as individuals and groups looking for stress management intervention and injury prevention strategies.

Certificate in Relaxation

  • Your Certificate will enable you to practice massage professionally for relaxation of healthy people.
  • There are many employment opportunities including: self employment, work within the spa industry, workplace, onsite, corporates, gymnasiums, tourism/hotel industry and health centres.
  • This Certificate is a very useful addition to other health/ fitness qualifications, e.g. nursing, physiotherapy, beauty therapy, sports science and personal training.

Diploma in Health Sciences (Therapeutic Massage)

  • Your Diploma will provide the basis for working as a professional therapeutic massage therapist.
  • There are many career opportunities including: self-employment, working alongside other professionals in a multi-health practice, e.g. physiotherapy, acupuncture, osteopathy or medical centre.
